Ravens Opportunity 'Presents Everything!' Says Dalvin Cook

When Dalvin Cook departed from the New York Jets, the race was on for his signature, and after he cleared waivers, it was the Baltimore Ravens who won the race.

Considering the Ravens' rushing attack was already potent, adding another back with Cook's potential didn't seem logical - but you can never have enough good players.

Now, with the Ravens having the first-round bye thanks to being the No. 1 seed in the AFC, Cook is getting acclimated to his new surroundings. But as far as what the chance to potentially win a Super Bowl means to him?

"It presents everything," Cook said. "Obviously, the situation speaks for itself. These guys put in the work and had a first-round bye, at number one seed, so for me, just come in and give everything I got. These guys don't put the hard work in already so for me I lay all on the line for these guys, they done did the dirty work so it's now it's time for me to just go help these guys any way I can."

With the physical and punishing nature of the running back position, there could have been a cause for concern in Baltimore picking up Cook, but in truth, he didn't see much action in New York.

In his 15 games, Cook never had more than 13 carries and 10 times, he has had five or fewer, so he "should" be fresh for the Ravens.

Baltimore's rushing attack has again been led by Lamar Jackson (821) and Gus Edwards (810), and now we can add Cook to the room as the Ravens have added another weapon for coordinator Todd Monken to utilize.

It is a good opportunity for the Ravens to at least make the Super Bowl, and it appears that Cook understands what is in front of him - and he's ready to make it count.
